How Entries are Scored

How Entries are Scored

Our aim is to provide a robust and transparent judging process that provides clarity and confidence to all involved.

Entries are scored using a pre-determined criteria, the criteria is used to shortlist the finalists.

The Judging panels for each category then score both the written entries and live presentations. Winners from each category are identified based on the highest score and the “Overall UK Financial Services Experience Awards” is given to the sector or discipline entry with the highest overall score.

All Finalists and Winners will receive benchmarked feedback reports. These reports are to help you continue to improve the delivery of outstanding customer service. They will include comments from the Judges based on your written entry and your live presentation. The reports show your performance versus the other Finalists (including the Winner) in your category.

There are a standard set of 7 criteria across all of the categories. Each criterion has 100 marks available.

All 7 sections of the criteria will be used for both the shortlisting of Finalists (by the Screening Panel) and for scoring the written entries by the Judging Panel. Finalist presentations will be scored against criteria 2-7 only.
